Art Studies:
Two-year
Master Artist Painting course at Kachina School of Art, Phoenix,
Arizona. Portrait studies with Jay Datus and Mueller-lux.
Traditional art instruction with Richard Groves. Self-studies in portraiture
and Techniques Of The Old Masters.
Medium and Style:
Oil/acrylic
on canvas or panel supports. Style of choice is Realism rendered
in a traditional approach.
Personal:
California and Oregon have been home in past years, but
residence is now Sun City Grand in Surprise, Arizona with husband, Clyde.
Many photographs have been taken over the years during travels and now
that retirement is realized, these are helpful in creating paintings in
the studio.
